Ben Davis

Ben Davis

This week, we’re On the Couch with Ben Davis, who is currently making his way, one brick at a time, through the Underworld as Hades in Broadway’s Hadestown. With an impressive career on stage and screen, Ben’s credits include Dear Evan Hansen, Les Misérables, and most recently Ragtime at Lincoln Center. When he’s not on the stage, you can find Ben spending time with his dog Bingley, drinking champagne with his pizza, or losing his long-fought battle against his screen-time. Read our full interview below.

What is your personal motto?
It’s a quote from Orpheus Descending –
“Take me out to Cypress Hill in my car. And we’ll hear the dead people talk. They do talk there. They chatter like birds on Cypress Hill, but all they say is one word and that one word is “live,” they say “Live, live, live, live, live!'” It’s all they’ve learned, it’s the only advice they can give. Just live. Simple! A very simple instruction…”
