New York, NY (September 9, 2026) – Concord Theatricals is thrilled to announce that a full-length adaptation of the Broadway and West End hit, Operation Mincemeat, now playing on Broadway, in the West End and on a world tour, is now available as Operation Mincemeat: The Expanded Cast for casts aged under 19 in North America, featuring companies of up to 87 actors. The year is 1943 and we’re losing the war. Luckily, we’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse. Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won the Allies World War II. The question is, how did a well-dressed corpse wrong-foot Hitler? Operation Mincemeat: The Expanded Cast enlists over 100 characters which can be played with a range of 13 to 87 performers.

Since premiering at the New Diorama Theatre in 2019, Operation Mincemeat has been nominated for 68 awards and won 24, including four for Best Musical from the Olivier Awards®, WhatsOnStage Awards, BroadwayWorld Theater Fans’ Choice Awards, and off-West End Awards. On Broadway, the show opened at the John Golden Theatre on March 20, 2025, and was nominated for four Tony Awards®, including Best Musical, and won Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

Written by triple Tony Award nominees SpitLip (comprised of David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson and Zoë Roberts), Operation Mincemeat recently announced its 19th extension at the West End’s Fortune Theatre, and the Broadway production has confirmed its 9th extension, booking until February 14, 2027, two years after previews began.

This comes alongside the launch of the Operation Mincemeat World Tour, with performances across four continents, including stops in the UK, North America, Australia, China, Mexico and New Zealand.

David Cumming is a member of SpitLip and a co-writer of Operation Mincemeat. An Olivier-award-winning, triple Tony-nominated writer/actor/composer, he originated the role of Charles Cholmondeley in the London Fringe, West End and Broadway productions, which also saw him nominated for Best Actor in a Musical at the Olivier Awards 2024.

Outside of SpitLip, David is a freelance actor/writer/director/composer in his own right, creating innovative work “full of energy, wit, fun, anger and… joy” (The Times). His multi-award-winning beatbox retelling of Frankenstein: How To Make A Monster, co-created with the BAC Beatbox Academy, was one of The Guardian’s Top 10 Shows of 2018 and was later adapted for TV by David and the team for BBC Four. David is also a member of the award-winning comedy writing collective Kill the Beast, who have developed TV shows with BBC Studios and Comedy Central US.

Felix Hagan is Co-Artistic Director of SpitLip and a freelance composer and performer in a multitude of different acts and guises. Felix specializes in fusing music and lyrics with vast amounts of excitement and joy, drawing inspiration from classic musical theatre, preposterous glam pop, hard rock, hip-hop and every genre under the sun. As a performer, he has toured internationally with Felix Hagan & The Family and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, and he has played everywhere from pub backrooms to vast arenas (once in the same week). As a songwriter and producer, he has composed top ten albums as well as Christmas number ones and soundtracks for Mercedes, Honda, Hovis and Odeon. His latest solo album, Happy Songs, was released in February 2026. Felix regularly performs around London and Manchester.

Natasha Hodgson is an award-winning writer-performer and co-writer and star of Operation Mincemeat, which won Best New Musical at the 2024 Olivier Awards and was nominated for Best Musical at the 2025 Tony Awards. She was also nominated for Best Actress in a Musical at the Oliviers for originating the role of Ewen Montagu in the West End, which she also originated on Broadway and won the Broadway World Fans Choice Award for Best Lead Performer in a Musical.

Outside of Operation Mincemeat, Natasha is a part of the award-winning dark-comedy theatre troupe Kill the Beast and created and starred in her own critically acclaimed BBC scripted fiction series The Sink, which was nominated for Best Podcast/Online Audio at the Audio Drama Awards 2021 and named one of the Top 20 Podcasts of 2020 by The Guardian.
