New York, NY (May 21, 2026) – Editor-in-Chief Kobi Kassal of Theatrely, Broadway’s leading Gen-Z theater media platform, and Co-Founders Christopher Ketner and Hunter Regian of Origin Story Productions announced today that Elizabeth Gillies will host the previously announced inaugural Broadway Breakout Brunch on Friday, May 22 at Ascent Lounge in New York City (10 Columbus Circle). The event, which will celebrate the next generation of Broadway talent on stage and off, will include appearances by presenters Alex Brightman (Schmigadoon!), Tom Felton (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), Sophie Carmen-Jones (Chicago), Jeremy Jordan (Just In Time), Dylan Mulvaney (SIX), Greg Nobile (Seaview), Jess Val Ortiz, Sam Pinkleton (Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show), Qween Jean (CATS: The Jellicle Ball), Samantha Schwartz (Beaches), Hannah Solow (Oh, Mary!), Jessica Vosk (Beaches), and Cost n’ Mayor from 11 to Midnight.
As previously announced, the event will honor breakout stars Anania (Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show), Isa Briones (Just in Time), Aidan Close & Emmet Smith (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), McKenzie Kurtz (Schmigadoon!), Whitney Leavitt (Chicago), Jake Shane (All Out: Comedy About Ambition) and Runyonland Productions (Thomas Laub and Alyah Chanelle Scott) for their contributions to the Broadway landscape this season and beyond.
The program will feature a script by Tim Murray and Origin Story Productions and music direction by Joey Chancey. Ketner and Regian’s new production company, Origin Story Productions, will serve as Executive Producers for the event.
